Time-consuming, expensive and bothersome search holes are a thing of the past! The Primo Cable Holder is put on the first plasterboard wall and marks the box to be installed. The mandrel pushes through the insulation and the second plasterboard wall. This makes the position of the box clearly visible. See for yourself!

The Primo Cable Holder
The Cable Holder helps the electrician to find all cables with just one movement. Thanks to the adhesive disc, the “plunger” is placed within seconds. In addition, the second measurement on the finished wall is no longer necessary, nor bothersome searching. This saves an enormous amount of time and money. For multiple holes, we recommend using the Drilling Template for an even more efficient installation.

Simple installation in a few steps

Attach adhesive disk to cable carrier and remove protective film.

Put Cable Holder on the desired spot for the box on the drywall. Then guide cables and conduits through the bracket.

Push mandrel through second plasterboard, if necessary use a hammer to punch a small hole at the marked position. The mandrel later serves as a centering hole for drilling out the box.

Use pliers to clip off the Cable Holder flush with the wall.

Place the can milling cutter in the centering hole and mill out the hole. The Primo Bohr-Fixx is suitable for this.

Pull the Cable Holder with the attached cables and conduits out of the opening.

Install cavity wall box, built-in device or socket.

Another option: Simply affix the Cable Holder also for ceiling installation and guide through cables. Done!

The drywaller tears down the Cable Holder – what to do?
DIN 18299 (General regulations for construction work) requires that damage and impairment of other trades must be avoided when carrying out work.
We recommend discussing and finalizing the handling procedure with the Cable Holder during the construction meeting. This will benefit all trades (electricians, drywallers, and the client), for example, no cable searching, no filling in gaps, and no ripped-out insulation.
