THE M-SERIES CONCRETE BOXES

To the Product

The concrete boxes from the M-Series are available in three different sizes and are thus variably usable:

M1: length 110 mm, width 80 mm, installation depth 85 mm
M2: length 90 mm, width 80 mm, installation depth 68 mm
M3: length 90 mm, width 80 mm, installation depth 48 mm

All variants are available with a 60 mm or 35 mm installation opening, are 100 percent airtight and can be used for a concrete cover of 20 – 60 mm. The polypropylene membrane boxes are heat-resistant from -5 °C to 100 °C. Due to the smart design, the following areas of application are possible:

M1 (5-in-1): junction box, concrete wing box, ceiling junction box, M32 large conduit box, electronics box
M2 & M3 (3-in-1): junction box, concrete wing box, M32 large conduit box

SIMPLE INSTALLATION

IN A FEW STEPS

Option 1: Attach the cover of the membrane box to the wall (l) or the ceiling (r) in the marked place with nails. If the reinforcement has already been installed, the Primo Nailer helps with simple and injury-free fastening. The wall and ceiling mounting processes are identical.

Option 2: Attach membrane boxes directly to the reinforcement with the help of the optional wings.

Thanks to SCS connection technology, a second concrete box can easily be installed at a standardised distance of 71 mm.

Connect two membrane boxes together simply and stably thanks to SCS connection technology and place them on the fastened covers.

Cut the membrane with a cutter knife.

Insert conduits as desired without additional tools.

Attach the second reinforcement and concrete.

Tap in the covers after concreting.

Remove the SCS connection web effortlessly with the Primo Box Cutter.

Install pre-wired devices.

Complete the installation.

THE M-SERIES

PUSH-ON FRAME

Our Push-on Frames are also used in the electrical installation for the fastening of the membrane box M1. You can order them as accessories. This allows you to increase the height of the actual box by 2.5 cm: the installation space is extended and fastening is facilitated. Furthermore, you have the option to combine any number of Push-on Frames. So you can adapt the system entirely in accordance with your needs.

WINGS

The membrane boxes are attached directly to the steel reinforcement with the help of the Wings. Neither a counter bearing nor a support element is required for fastening. Due to the special design of the Wings, the standard distance to door formwork of 15 cm is maintained. Depending on the direction of the attachment of the wings to the membrane box, a concrete cover of 20-40 mm or, with a rotation of 180°, of 40-60 mm is possible.

NAILER

The nailing aid for concrete construction products facilitates the fastening of boxes. Without finger injuries, the 40 cm Primo Nailer nails the cover and the boxes to the formwork – even if the second reinforcement has already been installed. The distance between the pick-up pins is 60 mm, so that any standard box cover can be picked up, precisely positioned and nailed down. The mounted magnet that picks up the nails can be reordered.
